County Clerk front desk voter registration position

We are looking for someone who has pleasant personality and strong skills to be our front person which handles voter registration, absentee voting, licenses and other job requirements. Must be reliable and able to meet and manage the duties of the front desk which includes good typing skills, organizational skills in times of slow or heavy traffic, filing capabilities, the desire and ability to learn the voter registration software, along with other software. Some experience with excel, word and the internet are necessary, along with physical lifting as needed for elections. The ability to take initiative to work independently as well as a team player will be valuable to our office. Full time position, Monday thru Friday 35 hours weekly, employee paid pension of 6%, with health insurance coverage provided by the employer, 15 paid holidays, 3.5 hours sick pay allowance monthly, five days vacation beginning January 1st, and starting wage will be $12.50, experience will be considered. Laclede County Road and Bridge is hiring for a full-time Grader Operator. Job Description:
Opening for full and part-time Jailers. Experience is not required but applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, must be able to pass a background check and drug testing. Employer has multiple openings and offers benefits for full-time positions. Part-time positions offer flexible hours for those needing to work around schooling or another job. $14/hr with scale.
Duties:
Processing inmates; maintaining jail security; serving meals. Receives and processes inmates into custody of institution; searches prisoners; takes charge of personal property. Prepares routine records on inmates; performs general clerical duties. Ensures the care and maintenance of quarters.
Job Benefits:
Probation period a minimum of 60 days. County pays for the employee insurance (it is effective 120 days after hire). Accumulate 4 hours per month sick leave. 1 Week vacation starting January after full-time hire . 14 paid holidays (after probation period). County Retirement.
