Vote Absentee In-Person
Starting six weeks before an election, Laclede County registered voters may request and vote an absentee ballot at the Laclede County Clerk’s office. You can conveniently request, receive, and return your voted ballot all at the same time and place.

You must make your request in-person by 5:00 pm the Monday before the election.
What to Expect
Absentee voting in-person starts six weeks before the election in the Laclede County Clerk’s office. We are located on the 1st floor of the Laclede County Courthouse.

To request a ballot you will need to complete a simple form that includes:
- Your name
- Your current residential address
- Last 4 digits of your social security number
- Reason for requesting an absentee ballot
- Your signature

Upon completion of the form you will:
- Receive your ballot.
- Vote your ballot.
- Place the ballot into the ballot counter.
- Receive your “I voted” sticker.
